The Experience
Is this a concert? If not, what really is it?
This is not a concert. While there is music—extraordinary music—think of AHA as a fully immersive, multi-sensory journey for the soul: part story, part score, part stillness, told through the largest screen and sound system ever built. No two people leave with the same experience.
What’s the intention of AHA?
To give you the gift of your own AHA moment. When the lights come on, you are reminded what you have always known to be true. Storytelling and shared humanity, music and meditation, revelation and remembering, with thousands of people right there beside you.
How long is the show?
Plan on about two hours, without intermission.
Is Oprah Winfrey going to be there herself?
Yes. Every show, Oprah will be live on stage. This is not a filmed message or a hologram. AHA is the gathering Oprah has been moving toward for forty years, and has been intimately involved in gathering a global collective of musicians, artists and storytellers to create this experience.
Max Richter! Are you using his existing music, or is this an original score?
Original score! Max Richter and Jon Hopkins are composing a new score written for this room and this night — music you will hear at Sphere before anywhere else on Earth.
I’ve never been inside Sphere — what is it actually like?
An all-encompassing experiential space. The screen wraps over and around you, sixteen stories tall; the sound arrives through the seats as much as the air. And AHA will use it in ways it has never been used.
Can I bring my mom? My teenager?
Please do. AHA is built for every generation at once — the artists on that stage span five decades of the culture.
Are there accessible seats and sensory accommodations?
Yes. Accessible seating, assistive listening, and a quiet room are all available at every show — choose what you need at ticketing, and reach out if we can do more.
Will any of the proceeds go to charity?
Yes. At least 10% of profits will be directed toward aligned philanthropic causes.
